Unpopular Supernatural season 3 opinion

This season, and possibly this whole series, would have been a lot more interesting if Sam and Dean were better Slytherins.

Step 1: Agree to lead demon army.
Step 2: Gank yellow-eyes.
Step 3: Lead revolution in hell with newly-acquired army.
Step 4: Reform hell from the inside.
Step 5: ???
Step 6: Profit.

Now that would be an awesome series.
